New World: Carpentry quickly level up to 200

New World offers several professions that you can level up to 200. In this guide, we at MeinMMO would like to explain to you how you can level up the carpenter especially quickly and which special tricks you should watch out for.

What does the carpenter do? The carpenter primarily produces items for housing in New World. This includes chairs, tables, and curtains, but also trophies that you can use later to get bonuses in the game.

How do I level up the carpentry effectively? The carpentry is relatively straightforward in the leveling process. You focus on just making decorations to sell for New World gold, which is relatively expensive.

However, there are some recipes that can save you a bit of money. In general, though, you should expect costs around 140,000 thalers if you haven't farmed many of the materials yourself. With the recipes, you can lower the price by about 15,000 thalers.

You will always produce the same items for the cheapest way. If you want to make your house as colorful as possible, you can always make other decorations, but this will drive up the price.

Leveling the carpenter's workshop - this is how it works

From level 1 to 50: For the first levels you should make ash glaze and then use it for the ash wall board. You will need a total of 179 wallboards and the following materials for them:

10,740 fresh wood

895 iron ingots

179 Ash Glaze (which you must have made yourself beforehand, otherwise you will need 186 wallboards and correspondingly more materials).

If you have the recipe for the Old Straw Pitcher, you can save a lot of money. You will need to make 974 Straw Pitches and you will need the following materials:

974 Linen

974 feathers

1,948 maple glaze

The special thing here is that you can recycle each flatbed and get 1 linen out guaranteed. This drops the total cost of linen to 0. On some servers, the recipe is available in the trading post. On Styx it even cost only 3 thalers, which is a really good deal.

Level 50 to 100: If you don't have any special recipes unlocked, you can make 63 ash rocking chairs for these levels. For this you will need:

945 raw wood

630 steel ingots

63 maple glaze

You will then reach level 70 to make Common Incense from now on. You will need 1,239 of these to reach level 100:

1,239 raw wood

1,239 Iron Crate

1,239 Cinnamon

2.478 Fresh wood

Alternatively, if you have the right recipes, you can make another 284 Old Straw Pitches to reach level 55. At level 55, you will then make 494 Old Wooden Double Beds. For this you will need:

494 raw wood

494 Steel ingots

410 maple glaze

You will then reach level 70 and can also make Common Incense.

Level 100 to 150: If you want to reach level 150 straight away, the best way is to use the oak glaze. You will need 3,181 of these and the following materials:

31,810 Effective solvents

12.724 Oil

However, the cost difference between Oak Varnish and Common Incense is minimal, so you can continue to level up on them as well. The same is true for Old Wooden Double Beds, if you have the corresponding recipe.

Level 150 to 200: From level 150 to 200, you can level entirely with Mahogany Stain. For this you need 4,953 times the glaze and the following materials:

49,530 Pure Solvent

19.812 Oil

If you want to save money, level only to level 170 with Mahogany Glaze and then switch to the Salvaged Maritime Runner. However, for this you will need a recipe and then you will need to make 1,985 of them. For this you will need:

29,775 silk

9,925 silk fabric

9,925 silk threads

In the end, however, you will only save about 2,000 talers, which makes little difference to the total cost of 140,000 talers.
